Topical prevention and treatment of ticks, fleas, flies and mosquitoes on dogs and puppies weighing more than 1.5kg and 7 weeks of age and older.
One 0.4ml pipette will cover one puppy/dog weighing 1.5-4 kg.
One 1.0ml pipette will cover one puppy/dog weighing 4-10kg.
One 2.5ml pipette will cover one puppy/dog weighing 10-25kg.
One 4.0ml pipette will cover one puppy/dog weighing 25-40kg.
For dogs weighing more than 40kg, the appropriate combination of tubes should be used. Please contact your healthcare provider for advice if you are unsure which combination to use.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Use only as directed.
Hold the applicator tube in an upright position. Pull cap off the tube. Turn the cap around and place the other end of the cap back on the tube. Twist cap to break the seal, then remove the cap from the tube.
For easy application the dog should be standing. Part the hair on the back of the neck at the base of the dog’s skull until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze out the contents thoroughly to apply the solution directly onto the skin.
The formulation is bitter tasting and salivation may be seen for a short time if licked immediately after treatment, so make sure to apply it on the neck at the base of the skull. Do not get this product in your pet’s eyes or mouth.
In severe infestations two treatments 2-3 weeks apart are recommended.
Monthly treatments are required for optimal control and prevention of fleas, ticks and mosquitoes.
Frequent shampooing can drastically reduce the efficacy of Advantix, please contact your healthcare provider for advice before reapplying the product.
DO NOT USE ON CATS!
To prevent accidental exposure, keep cats away from treated dogs until the application site is dry. Do not allow cats to groom the application site on treated dogs. Do not use on cats. Contact your veterinarian immediately if you suspect accidental exposure.

- Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and pets.
- Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek your veterinarian’s advice and notify the registration holder.
